This Scandi-style converted former hotel perched on the cliffside, has 34 apartments which cater for couples, families and pets, for up to 8 people. Bring your binoculars: while really close to the town centre those floor to ceiling windows provide the most incredible views over the town and Bristol Channel. With its slouchy sofa, wood-burner, and spacious open plan feel, teens think Ocean Penthouse, we&#8217;re we&#8217;ve stayed twice now, is really cool. <p>Not only is Orchard Retreat easy on the eye, with its flowery meadows and far-reaching views across Devon fields, it’s been brilliantly planned to create the perfect yurt <em>feng shui</em>. Just the three, nicely spaced yurts positioned so the eating areas don’t overlook each other. Plus, there&#8217;s a fabulous roofless couples&#8217; bathtub for bathing under the trees and stars. I love it so much I&#8217;ve been twice, and the second time booked all the yurts for my nearest and dearest. The perfect place for family bonding and defrazzling.</p>

It joins their four beautiful dog-friendly boutique rooms and glamorous Cramwell cottage down the lane.
