<p>A long-standing local favourite founded by movement expert Annita Cole, this dedicated reformer and equipment studio has built a loyal following (for good reason). Based at The Chapel House in Totnes since 2016, it’s home to five reformer machines and small, expert-led classes with plenty of individual attention. <p>Pure Pilates was running Reformer classes long before it became a thing back in 1998, so you&#8217;re in safe hands here. The 5-strong team offer private consultations, studio sessions, plus small group mat work classes, from Mon to Saturday. Owner Paul has made here a local got-to locally for injuries and rehab, offering 1-to-1 sessions to create a mini programme of exercises bespoke for you to practice at home.</p>

<p>This thoughtfully-designed Pilates and wellbeing studio was founded by a movement specialist with a whopping 35+ years experience, Sue Dawson. With a strong focus on wellbeing and supporting our often over-stretched nervous systems, the studio offers Reformer Pilates, Tower Pilates (which uses fixed vertical frame), mat Pilates, and yoga. Sessions are in studio sessions and al fresco, down on the North Devon beach. If you’re starting out or recovering from injury, then personalised one-to-one sessions are here, along with breath-work, sound experiences, and seasonal retreats.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Known locally as RPP, this boutique Alma Yard studio runs multiple types of classes, from beginner essentials to athletic and circuit Reformer &#8211; ideal if you want to progress beyond the basics. Some classes are member-only, plus they do 1-to-1 sessions if you want to focus on technique.
