The Muddy Awards 2017: say hello to your finalists

After what will forever be known as 'mega-blip', voting in the finals will re-open very soon. Watch this space!

vote scrabble letters

First of all, a heartfelt thank you to those of you who have been voting in the final round of the Awards. The scale of voting has been unprecedented – up to 400 votes per second, which is incredible!
We’ve been overwhelmed by the response, and unfortunately the site has too. This was totally unexpected but just goes to show how much the finalists are loved by their fans.
We’re so sorry that some of you have been experiencing difficulty voting. As a precaution we’ve closed the voting for now to make sure the site runs super-smoothly for you when it reopens.
We’ll update you regularly on social media and via the blog and give all businesses prior notice before the Awards restart.

The voting will continue from its current percentages when the site goes live again.

An enormous THANK YOU for your enthusiasm and patience. The Muddy Awards are totally FREE for businesses from start to finish and we run them as a positive, affirming celebration of brilliant indies. Bear with us, we’ll have the site working, readers voting and 27 worthy winners before you know it!

WOWSER! Forget the election, there has been an epic counting sesh here at Muddy Devon HQ, to work out who the Finalists in this year’s Muddy Stilettos Awards are, but *drumroll* we have our shortlist – 133 businesses in 27 categories, all vying for your love!

There are loads of BRILLIANT Devon businesses to vote for and they are already throwing everything at it, which makes it so exciting!

Thank you to those of you who voted already – you totally broke the Internet, (you really did!) – and for the many businesses involved, I’m sad that only five can go through to the final round in each category.  If you didn’t make it through, then I hope 2018 is your year.

Anyway, check out all the finalists below and make sure you go and visit them – after you’ve voted!

Go Yarner! The Holman family are amazing. It’s a beautiful venue and I wish all the luck in the world to them for this award. I’ve had the pleasure of both staying as a family friend and helping out at a few weddings. Every experience was good. The wedding I helped out on was a fantastic day. I still remember the bride singing ‘A case of you’ with her Dad at the reception. She was wearing a Sari because her and her groom had been travelling around India. The food was delicious and the music was good too. I wish Yarner House all the best in the future and know all of the hard work that’s been put in recently will allow it to continue to grow and move forward. We’re behind you Yarner!
