Hip and Hoo – rah for these super-cute kids accessories

Line 'em up, strike a pose and Hip and Hoo - rah for these gorgeous kid's accessories made right here by Devon-based brand Hip and Hoo.

There was just one thing missing at the recent nuptials of Pip Mid, I thought.  While Prince George and Princess Charlotte looked suitably cute and edible in their little outfits (all the while ignoring the stern eye of the Duchess), those bonces needed adorning with one of these gorgeous kids crowns from Plymouth-based Hip and Hoo.

Aren’t they ace? And you can get matching wands, too, making for the perfect – and tasteful – party decor and dress-up for small people.  I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve lost the will to live when planning the Mudlet’s birthday parties; but this year, there is hope for something altogether less sticky and nauseating, without spoiling all the fun.

These cheeky props are made from 100% cotton fabric and come in some tasteful colours, such as ‘Night Night Navy’ and ‘Cornish Blue’.  Creator and founder of Hip and Hoo, and a mum of two tots herself, Sam Anderson, designs and hand makes all the products.

So far, you can find the range in  The Wedding Hub in Hyde Park or via Hip and Hoo’s Facebook page.  But we have the goss that Sam is soon to launch a further range of fab products, along with a shiny new website, so watch this space.

I courtesy to your creativity, Sam and I want one of those crowns for the Muddy Awards drinks, purleeeease?

Crowns  £16 each, Wands £14. Shop online at or at The Wedding Hub, Hyde Park Road, Peverell, Plymouth.
