The Muddy Stilettos Awards are the most coveted awards for independent lifestyle businesses in the UK, running across 35 counties and totally FREE to enter from start to finish.

Run with positivity, and a sense of fun, the Muddy Awards reach over 11 million people and offer the opportunity for our readers to say a massive THANK YOU to their favourite local businesses. We’re passionate advocates of local independents and are raring to showcase them!

For 2025, we have 21 lifestyle categories including FOUR new categories – Best… Family Experiences, Sports & Fitness Instructor, Women’s Style and Wellbeing Specialist.

Your reward for sharing the local love? The chance to WIN a £1,000 shopping spree at NEXT.

NOMINATIONS STAGE 25 FEB – 13 MAR 2025

It takes just seconds to show your support. Here’s how it works:

ROUND 1: NOMINATE YOUR FAVOURITE LOCAL BUSINESSES (25 FEB – 13 MAR 2025)

Nominate the businesses that you love locally across 21 lifestyle categories. You can put forward one business per category per email address. If you have your own business, feel free to nominate yourself (head to the ASSETS tab for downloadable social media assets and more).

ROUND 2: REGIONAL FINALS (25 MAR – 15 APR 2025)

The top 5 businesses with the most nominations in each category will go through to the Regional Finals. Public voting lasts until 1pm, 15 APRIL 2025 with Regional Winners being announced on 30 APRIL 2025.

ROUND 3: NATIONAL FINALS (18 JUNE - 25 JUNE 2025)

Regional Winners from every category will automatically go through to our prestigious National Finals. The Muddy Stilettos Editors will judge who is the ‘Best of the Best’ in each category, announcing the National Winners on 25 June 2025.
