You’ve survived winter, now who’s up for an outdoor adventure with the family? Co-designed by the UK’s adventurer-in-chief, Bear Grylls, Gone Wild Festival is landing at the stunning Powderham Castle, near Exeter, on Thurs 22 – Sun 25 August.

With more daring activities than you can shake a crampon at, Gone Wild promises a wild four days, chock-a-block with outdoor and water-based fun. Where else can you spend the day fire walking, spear throwing, traversing obstacles courses and trying SUP yoga, and the evening partying together to live bands like James, Ash, Ocean Colour Scene and Sam Ryder?

Plus, there’s the chance to rub shoulders with our favourite witchetty-grub muncher, Bear Grylls, and a host of other intrepid adventurers and inspiring individuals, including British explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes.

As you’d expect, survival skills are high on the agenda, including fire lighting, foraging walks, campfire cooking and shelter building, but rest assured you can bed down in comfort at the end of each day with a wide range of camping and glamping options available.
