<p>The benefits of sauna with cold water in a plunge pool are said to include reduced stress and anxiety, improved heart health, quicker recovery time after exercise, detoxification of toxins and improved sleep. No wonder, so many of these fabulous mobile saunas are popping up in our locale. Wellbeing sorted. </p>

<p>Opening at Dartington&#8217;s Meadowfields Campsite (home to Dynamic Adventures) on Jan 18 2025, South West Saunas is a wood-fired sauna, handmade in Latvia with a metal Urban Ice Tribes cold plunge &#8211; and ha! &#8211; some Kent &amp; Stowe watering cans for pouring on your friends. The temp is roughly 80 degrees C and hats are available to improve your sesh. There&#8217;s also a brand-new shower and toilet block and free parking for sauna guests. </p>

<p>Owners, Yussef and Jake (who both grew up in Totnes) are both sauna devotees having used them for various health issues, and have been planning this launch since last summer &#8211; so show the guys some support and go along and try it for yourself! <em>Open Fri 4-8pm, Sat 9am-6pm, Sun 9am-3pm. <p>Hats off to carpenter Columb Thompson who hand-built The Somewhere Sauna by hand as a place to connect people, nature and community. It&#8217;s wood-fired, with a cold plunge pool and based at Mothecombe Beach and various location around the South Hams. Choose from private or public sessions for up to eight people which last an hour. <em>Usual opening hours Fri- Sun, 12-8pm. £13pp.</em></p>

<p>Sea Sauna is a big Nordic wood-fired sauna on wheels, seating up to 12 people with a tinted glass window so you can see it, but people can&#8217;t nosey in. There&#8217;s a small changing room at the rear to protect your modesty, and they include complimentary essential oils to suit your sauna mood. Other options include private hire, breath work and yoga sessions, and all-day rental at your own location if you&#8217;re feeling shy. <em>From £10 for 45 mins as part of a group session</em>.</p>

<p>Run by Sea Kayak Devon, Sauna on the Sands is located on a gorgeous golden beach, near Dartmouth, with a very inviting piece of sparkling ocean right there. Open sessions are available to all, with a maximum of 4 at any time; book a private session for just yourself or share the sauna with your gals (5-6 max). <em>£15, 50 minutes, open session</em>.</p>

<p>This new pop-up from certified breath work coach and Wim Hof instructor, Sara Dance, is based in a specially designed tent, made from triple-insulated material with an efficient stove which reaches over 100 degrees C. Sara is popping up twice a week at two waterside locations so you can sauna and dip: Hearne Field, Combeinteignhead on the River Teign, every Tuesday from 11am/Swanaford Vineyard, near Exeter, on the&nbsp;River Teign, alternating Saturdays from 9am. Come prepped in your swimming togs; <em>£15 for 55 minutes.</em></p>

<p>Sitting pretty on Seatown Beach (opposite The Anchor at Seatown), Seaside Saunahaus is a wood-fired cedar sauna, offering saunas for groups of up to six, private hire and sauna clubs. Going one further, you can can also find your Zen with a silent sauna, or how about a Full Moon Sauna? Werewolves not allowed. Lots of options for a defrazzle. <em>One-hour £60</em>.</p>
