Come with your girlies for morning coffee or a light bite lunch in the rustic Folly, then wander with something chilled round the kitchen gardens – like a Country Living mag brought to life. You can gorge on zero-mile fruit and veg picked that morning and a 25-mile menu that’s good for meat-lovers and veggies alike. Make a stay of it in one of 17 uniquely decorated rooms, or if you’re coming with the fam, one of the larger stable rooms or rustic cottages.

Plus, it’s soooo kid-friendly. They will take your little piglets off to make a mocktail behind the bar, or whizz them off in the Landy to see the farm animals at the end of the drive, while you chill with a paper. How civilised is that?
