Endymed Pro is a skin-tightener for the face and body which uses high radio frequency to encourage the skin to produce fibroblasts, the collagen-making cells. 



What&#8217;s it do? It&#8217;s great for tightening saggy jowls and and turkey necks. It plumps crepy skin and lifts around the eyes, all with no downtime. It can also help mums who want help with post baby tummy sag, and we&#8217;ve had clients who love wearing shorts use it for lifting droopy skin on knees.



How quick are the results? A session takes around 45 minutes and is fairly painless with no needles, using a pad which is drawn repeatedly across the area. It can feel quite hot, so our therapists keep checking in with you to make sure you&#8217;re comfortable. For the best results, you need six sessions, around once a fortnight with a top up after six months. Results start to really show after around three months.



The damage: Full face and neck costs £360 per session, or choose from 3, 6 or 12-month programmes, including skincare from £2450.

It&#8217;s a high-tech laser machine, and collagen stimulator.



What&#8217;s it do? It&#8217;s light energy applied to skin, which feels a bit like being pinged repeatedly with an elastic band. It&#8217;s mostly used for tattoo removal, but it&#8217;s brilliant for getting rid of pesky age spots on face and hands, thread veins, rosacea, hair removal and stretch marks. There&#8217;s also the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://skinsouthwest.co.uk/treatments/illumifacial/" target="_blank">Illumi Facial </a>which acts a glycolic peel, targets any pigmentation and stimulates collagen growth. A trio of skin goodies!



How quick are the results? You need to have a patch test a week before, and have no fake tan or sunbeds beforehand. How many sessions you need depends on the problem. One age spot might be treated in 15 minutes, while the greater the pigmentation, the more go&#8217;s you&#8217;ll need.



The damage: Depends on number and length of treatments, the patch test costs £65.00, redeemable against your first treatment; the Illumi facial costs £199, or a course of 3-6 comes with a 10% discount.

Ellanse is a filler but unlike ordinary fillers which just add fullness to, say your lips or cheeks, it keeps up the good work by stimulating your own cells to produce collagen for up to three years. It&#8217;s like an internal drip-feed for your skin.



What&#8217;s it do? It&#8217;s great for restoring volume in the face that happens as we age as well as minimising folds and wrinkles, plumping thin skin on the face or the hands, often an age tell-tale even if your face looks great (think of Madonna!). Once you hit 40, the drop in oestrogen levels and changes in the face&#8217;s skeletal bones mean ageing registers around the mouth area, say in lip lines (non-smokers often why they&#8217;ve got them), nose to mouth lines (mannequin lines).

I often use Ellanse in conjunction with Emepelle (or as an alternative if you don&#8217;t like the thought of injections), which contains hyaluronic acid and Niacinamide for restoring oestrogen deficient skin and improves the thickness of skin. (It&#8217;s good, I use it every day.) Prices start from £180 for the serum and £300 for both serum and night cream but both last for ages.



How quick are the results? Ellanse is injected into skin in a procedure taking 30 – 60 minutes and you can go back to work the same day, with recovery time 3-4 days. Results are immediate, then after a few months the gel filler dissipates leaving the Ellanse to carry on its collagen building magic for two to two and half years.



The damage: From £800 upwards depending on how many syringes you require.

What&#8217;s it do? Remember Slendertone? Well, this is Slendertone on speed, think 54,000 crunches in 45 minutes! Six paddles are attached to your tummy then the therapist gets you warmed up slowly then turns up the dial to deliver your work-out. You work with the practitioner to tell them how intense you want to go. The more you do, the better results and the more you&#8217;ll feel it the next day! As you gain muscle, the more you burn fat quicker too.



It&#8217;s not just for getting great abs and peachy glutes &#8211; though it can certainly do that! &#8211; it can also help with chronic back pain due to poor posture or lack of muscle tone. It can help with tummy weakness in post-partum mums who&#8217;ve had a C-section and never managed to repair that weak spot where the muscle has been cut. It&#8217;s good for getting ski-ready fast too. What it won&#8217;t do is magically melt away very fatty bellies or get rid of an apron tum.



How quick are the results? It&#8217;s 6 x 45-minute sessions over two weeks, so it&#8217;s brilliant short-cut to getting bikini ready.
