<p>Launched in 2015 this boutique blender creates a tight, well-edited range of classic teas. From breakfast, Earl Grey, afternoon, all sourced from Ethical Tea Partnership-monitored estates.</p>



<p>It’s traditional tea, but done with care: UK blending, pretty packaging, and those neat, individually stitched teabags (no glue, no staples, no fuss).</p>

<p>Yes, Devon actually grows tea. On Dartmoor, this small estate is producing real&nbsp;<em>Camellia sinensis</em> &#8211; black and green teas grown in Devon soil. Using traditional hand processing and regenerative farming, It’s still very much a niche operation but one of the few places in the UK genuinely cultivating tea plants rather than just blending imported leaves.</p>

<p>What began as herbal tea blending under the original name (Teas&#8217;s Me)&nbsp;soon took a turn into &#8216;proper tea&#8217; after customers kept asking for it. Leading to the launch of &#8216;Propertea&#8217;, their classic English breakfast blend, the range has since evolved into something far more expansive. Today, you’ll find everything from smoky, Dartmoor-inspired brews and a Devon take on Lady Grey, to cheekily named herbal blends like &#8216;Smartea&#8217; and &#8216;Flirtea&#8217;. All teas are 100% organic, sourced through the Ethical Tea Partnership with plastic-free, fully compostable packaging. Every tea is hand-blended here in Devon and inspired from the county’s landscapes, gardens and quiet tea-drinking heritage. Award winning too so get the kettle on.</p>

<p>Don’t be fooled by the name &#8211; yes, they started out roasting and blending coffee beans, but things soon took a rather more civilised turn. Now working with a specialist tea importer, they’ve developed their own distinctive range of blends, all hand-packed in North Devon. <p>Tucked away in East Devon, Gathered &amp; Grown does exactly what it says on the tin &#8211; grows, dries and blends its own teas, with everything 100% cultivated on site and absolutely nothing imported. Set on a 5-acre smallholding, the project was started from scratch in 2022 after the founders bought the land and set about creating a fully regenerative herb farm in the Devon countryside. This is very much a boots-in-the-soil operation and everything is grown, harvested and processed on the farm itself, making it a genuinely local, field-to-cup kind of affair rather than your typical high street tea brand.</p>

<p>A small Devon herb farm producing both culinary and medicinal herbs, Herb Heaven Devon is all about artisan growing and hands-on craft. Everything is sown, grown and harvested by hand before being air-dried on site and blended into a range of thoughtful, flavour-led herbal teas; from garden-inspired infusions to more traditional soothing brews.</p>
