<p>Twinkly, trendy (but with a mix of ages) and spread over two tiers of a historic former sail loft, here is fab, with Nkuku-inspired styling upstairs and a cosy area with wooden seats and parasols out front. Go for regular guest chef nights and Friday music nights. On Friday 15 December, it&#8217;s their Family Festive Fun when&nbsp;it will be &#8216;snowing&#8217;, yay! Plus, there will be festive carols to be sung with a hot chocolate, mulled wine and a Christmas pizza.&nbsp;Always wonderful, and <em>always</em> busy so best to book.</p>

<p>They&#8217;re rolling out the festive cocktails and Prosecco for Christmas at this contemporary new town centre wine bar. Go for craft beers, a lovely long wine list and tapas-style Asian food designed for sharing with the gals over laid-back drinks.  </p>

<p>Grab your Santa shades and head to this buzzing eatery overlooking Brixham harbour. Book a table at the bar and taste test (that&#8217;s what I&#8217;m calling it) a choice of 16 wines by the glass from the Enomatic machine. Or decant yourself to a table for a choice of both small and large Mediterranean dishes, designed around socialising and sharing, plus delicious roasts on Sundays. They&#8217;re also running a wine club which sounds like a great idea when you have 265 world wines on offer. Sign me up!</p>

<p>Friday nights and the lights are low! I love this dark and dimpsy tapas spot down a side street in Teignmouth. It has speakeasy vibes, great tapas and is ultra-intimate, thanks to twinkly lights, low velvet sofas and a huge range of local gins.</p>

We&#8217;ve taken a fancy to the festive creations coming out of Sidmouth&#8217;s Graze &amp; Olive which include this candy cane-adorned Sugar Cookie, a Santa&#8217;s Hat (vodka and grenadine), a creamy Snow Russian and a chocolatey Ferrero Rocher Martini.  Every Friday is Graze &amp; Cocktail Night with a seasonal grazing board to soak up the booze for £16pp. </p>
