Planning a garden party? (I’m free!) One woman you need top of your list is Hannah Clegg, owner of The Natural Hire Company, newly launched in spring 2021. I’m hearing on the grapevine that brides and party girls are snapping up her cool collection of props and furniture for hire, which include the most stunning hand-built bars you seriously won’t want to return.

Hannah has a background as an events-organiser and is naturally gifted with a stylist’s eye for what’s cool and feels right in a space. So much so that when she organised a big charity event, The Secret Garden Boho Ball, a few years ago she was flooded with compliments and enquiries.

Taking the hint, Hannah started pulling together her range of on-trend rattan furniture, poufs and rugs, all in natural materials, such as jute, wood and wicker. Zeitgeist-wise, it’s totally on point – perfect for festival weddings, al fresco parties and those blank hard-to-fill buildings, like barns and unfurnished venues, in need of places to lounge. And we’re not talking the odd peacock chair here and candelabra there: Hannah creates a whole stage-set which you can book as a package, saving you the headache of putting it together yourself.

What’s more, she will come along to help with styling, or she’s happy to deliver the items and leave you to DIY.

When I posted a pic of their circular bar on the Muddy insta-feed instagram recently, it got a lotta likes. It just screams partaaaaaaay – the perfect centrepiece, with a bar-top, shelves for your gin and champers and ceiling racks for the glasses.
