Woolston Accounts

Muddy says: two working mums, doing the business for your, err, business! With their friendly, flexible and refreshing approach to the otherwise unglamorous subject of accounts, bookkeeping and more, we love the idea of handing the paperwork (yawn) over to this pair.

Seriously, life is too short to sweat the tax returns and balancing the books, right? If it’s the part of running a business or being self-employed that makes you want to curl up in a ball and rock back and forth, then do yourself a favour and hand it over to these two ladies – between them, they’ll get the job done.

From their South Devon base in Loddiswell, Charlotte and Josie specialise in nailing all those headache-inducing, yet crucial jobs for businesses of all sizes and industries. For sole traders, partnerships or limited companies Woolston Accounts provides a one-stop shop of business services and you can get them on board for as much or as little as you need.

Making the most of their skillsets, Charlotte takes care of accounting (she’s fully qualified), bookkeeping and PA services, while Josie swaps the accounting part for social media management for businesses and brands needing more of a presence online.

Having met these two over a glass of wine (naturally), what really stood out is how easy it would be to work with them – they’re mums with busy lifestyles and they get how many of us shoehorn running a business into the rest of our lives.  They’re realistic, understanding of timeframes and up for discussions about how they can fit in with you, too, whether working face-to-face or remotely (if you’re outside their 30 mile radius). And that, in my book, is priceless.
