Muddy Says: It’s a winning combo! Casual dining in a great atmosphere, cracking seasonal menus, huge variety and a naughty cocktail list to boot. Open all day, every day, this is a super, buzzy spot, whether for lunch, brunch, or dinner. It’s a true Exeter indie and we’ve a lot of love for Harry’s.
Is there anything nicer than discovering a dining spot that’s always busy, buzzy and delivers a cracking menu? Established on the Exeter foodie scene for the last 25 years, Harry’s, housed in an awesome gothic-style building, moves with the times, while retaining its brilliant ethos of being a family-run, honest, indie restaurant.
Which is good news for us and our appetites and, while we’re on the subject, the choice is enormous with over 75 dishes and 20 cocktails across breakfast, lunch and dinner. I’d say this is part of the reason why this is a great choice for group bookings and parties – it’ll literally please everyone.
But, unlike some of the chains we know that pre-cook and rush out the dishes when the going gets busy, here there’s a definite emphasis on quality, evident by the string of local suppliers the team have spent years nurturing relationships with.
You know when you just want somewhere reliable, familiar and fun? That. Hats off to you, Harry’s.
