Crocketts Gin Bar, Exeter
Muddy says: A cosy, elegant bar in Exeter’s bustling cultural quarter, with so many artisan gins it would take months to work through them all (or just a really, really good weekend!)
Sneak off Exeter’s busy Queen Street, up the cobbles of Upper Paul Street and you’ll discover a sleek and discreet black door – your invitation to step inside Crocketts and discover pure gin heaven.
Seriously, this is one of the friendliest and fun bars you’ll come across in town and it’s all executed with a touch of pure class. If you’re yet to jump on the gin wagon and experience more than the trad bottles in the supermarket or down the local pub, then this is the place to enjoy experimenting. Team Crocketts are super-knowledgeable and keen to get you involved in their favourite tipple.
You’ll find an awesome selection of gins distilled in the south west, as well as some top blends from all around the world; to be fair it would probably be quicker to list the gins they DON’T have on the shelves. And the cocktail list is rather alluring, too. But rest assured, if you really don’t fancy gin, but you still want a night at Crocketts (why wouldn’t you, it’s a fab space to meet with your bezzies), they haven’t left out hardened wine or beer-supping types with their menu, either. We’ll drink to that – cheers!
