The Urban Guide to the Countryside

Wouldn’t You Though?

15 Mar 2017

I’m coveting the leather weekend bag, right now and this little beauty is right up my street. The Badwa looks, feels and smells like a piece of luxury arm candy but it’s strong enough to stuff with everything you need to get away for a naughty night or two, and comes with a handy detachable and extendable shoulder strap.

In true Nkuku style, this is a piece made with love; in fact, I can tell you exactly who made it, a talented chap from Delhi called Mohamed, who works away from his family crafting his leather. It’s his hobby as well as his job.  Visit the website and you can read more about Mohamed’s lifestyle, which is a pretty cool quirk, don’t you think?

The bag is made from leather hides sourced in India which are a bi-product from the food industry.  Natural, traditional treatments are used to retain the individual character of each one, so you’ll likely spot those imperfections that make each bag unique.

By the way, if you likey then take a look at my main feature, because you can grab a sneaky discount until Mother’s Day.

Now I’ve spread the word, all that’s left for me to do is leave this post open for all members of the Muddy clan to see. Take the hint, family, take the hint…

Badwa Weekend Bag, £295.
